We would like to circulate to our existing customer network via our regular newsletter, and add a news story to our website, advising client organisations and website visitors of our appointment to the DPS. Do you have a prepared and approved form of words that we can use for this purpose?

91. We've been in touch with Contracts Finder to apply to be allowed to place subcontract advertisements there for DPS bids of more than £25k, as per the CCS instructions. (Joint Schedule 12, para 2) However, Contracts Finder say that we can't apply for a general permission to use the service, but to apply on a case-by-case basis, having first sought the specific authority of the buying organisation. This is going to add administrative delay to the process of preparing proposals in response to buyer requests. Please can you comment and advise? Thanks.
The clauses identified are in place to ensure CCS meets the obligations of PPN 01/18, the clause identified stems from this PPN. If further understanding is required on interpretation we recommend taking your own legal advice.

90. Is there a word limit in any of the prospectuses? Also, can we include pictures/diagrams/graphics in the prospectuses, or will these not get exported and displayed to customers in the DPS?

Yes there is a 300 word limit per free text box and no, pictures/diagrams/graphics cannot be uploaded.

87. Can you please clarify whether the RRP on the "Learning Category" tab on the pricing matrix is per individual? There is nowhere to indicate group learning/whether it is per course.
This is for you to decide, I would suggest including in the 'Additional information' column whether or not your prices are per individual or per course.

86. The pricing matrix refers to DPS Order Schedule 5 - Pricing Details but the document is blank and only includes a guidance note. Can this please be addressed?
As per the guidance note in Order Schedule 5 - This Schedule is used to show any further detailed pricing information in addition to the pricing in the Order Form, as agreed by the customer and supplier. If no additional detail is required then this schedule is not used.

85. Good Morning CCS Team,
As a business, we do not provide physical goods to our customers, therefore the Product Liability Insurance is not applicable to us.
Please could you confirm whether Product Liability Insurance is a mandatory requirement for the DPS, even for those suppliers who do not need to hold it for business purposes?

83. Hello. DPS Schedule 5 (page5) includes an embedded Attachment 2, which is the MI Data Template. This attachment doesn't appear to be accessible. The hyperlink on the same page goes through to a login screen for reporting MI to CCS. However there is no apparent facility to create a new user for this portal, only a login for existing users. Please can you supply a copy of Attachment 2 and instructions for creating an MI Reporting user account? Thanks.

No, the only pricing required for this DPS is for Standard Off The Shelf training.

- Please can you explain how Q158-9 are relevant to this DPS
- Is Q160 in relation to healthcare/ NHS trade bodies?
- Does Q161 refer to an occupational health service for our staff or as a market offering?
No, these are filters to indicate whether or not a provider can provide specific NHS training or not.

78. The specification states that suppliers must provide a helpdesk service between 08.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday. Can you please clarify if this needs to be in place perpetually throughout the DPS as a general helpdesk? Or only if specified by the buyer as a helpdesk for individual call off contracts?
This would only be if specified by the customer for individual call offs.

77. A few of our sub-contractors are concerned around the GDPR for collecting their address. Is there a minimum level of information accepted for sub-contractors?
The address fields are mandatory, but to confirm only CCS can see this detail unless you accept a sharing request from a customer who wants to view additional evidence as part of a contract award.

They are very similar but virtual could mean entirely automated through videos etc, whereas virtual instructor led would be a person but in a different location to the audience.

74. Under our delivery model, our delivery experts are not on our payroll, they are on associate contracts, however, they only deliver our courses/content. Would they be considered subcontractors?

73. The recent answer to a CQ about the Generic prospectus supply chain 100 word/300 word answer suggested that there are more of these short answers. Could you please tell us which of the answers that we understood to be 300 word answers (i.e the prose responses in the prospectuses and SOTS) are in fact only 100 words. Please note; as a user, word count limits are not visible - the word count is only revealed if error message is generated when saving a submission.
Q84 is the only question with a 100 word limit all other free text boxes are 300 words.
