What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

Go to the ‘Forgotten your password?’ page from the sign in page.

 

Background

Email authentication means that you can set up a new password in the event that you forget your current password. You should consider using a passphrase as these are usually longer, easier to remember and offer greater security.

 

Steps

1. Go to the ‘Forgotten your password?’ page from the sign in page

2. Enter the email address that you used to register and an email will be resent to your email address

3. Create a safe password or passphrase following the rules on the password page

4. Press ‘Save’ to create a new password
