What is a CPV code?

Answer

A CPV code has been specifically designed by the European Union as a classification system for public procurement.

 

Background

Question 3 in the Selection Questionnaire asks suppliers to enter CPV codes that are relevant to their organisation. A buyer will add CPV codes to their contract notice, allowing suppliers to search by CPV code on the Contracts Finder platform.

 

Steps

  1. Go to ‘Sign in’ from the ‘Home’ page
  2. Select the option for ‘Your dashboard’ and select the hyperlink to ‘Start a standard Selection Questionnaire’
  3. Go to Q3 and select the relevant CPV codes to your organisation
