Why do I need a secret question?

You need a secret question if you contact the Support Team. You will be asked to confirm 2 random characters from your answer to verify your identity.

Background

A secret question and answer combination provides increased security to your user account as only you should know this. This is used as an extra layer of security in the event that you need to contact the Support Team. You will be required to validate yourself via the secret question and answer combination before the Support Team can share any information about your account with you.

Steps

1. If you contact the Support Team you will need to provide two random characters from the answer to your secret question
2. If you want to change your secret question and answer, go to your user name at the top right of 'Your dashboard' and use the ‘Edit secret question’ option
